Handmade Macrame & Delightful Plant Pots

Lark & Anchor makes vintage-inspired macrame and plant pots with a sustainability mindset. Using 100% recycled cotton cord, plant-based plastics, and foraged driftwood, we buy our supplies from local companies as much as possible.

We are located on the traditional and unceded territories of the Scia’new and T’Sou-ke Nations on southern Vancouver Island. We are so grateful that we get to be creative on these incredible lands and try to behave as guests should: with respect, appreciation, and soft steps.

Meet the Makers

Meet Ashley. The daughter and granddaughter of sailors, tying knots comes naturally to Ashley. When her plant-obsessed wife ran out of horizontal space, Ashley picked up some cord on a lark to make a plant hanger. The rest, as they say, is history.

Meet Dana. A collector of hobbies, Dana went out for milk one day and came home with a 3D printer. She’s been tinkering ever since. The brains behind the operation, Dana keeps the cord cut, the website on, and the materials stocked.
